Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2026: хто тримає лінію, а хто мислить марафоном?

У Штутгарті завершилися Media Day перед стартом Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2026. Представниці WTA вийшли до преси та виконали передтурнірні активності. Серед спікерок – Ева Ліс, Іга Свьонтек, Коко Ґауф, Єлена Рибакіна та Еліна Світоліна. Їхні тези окреслили теми ґрунтової форми, підходу до календаря і національних виступів.

Деталь у фокусі: Ева Ліс – про ґрунт і «життя» біля лінії

Німкеня наголосила на своїй кортовій ідентичності – максимально близька позиція до базової лінії. Цю рису відзначила і суперниця по тренуваннях Коко Ґауф. Для Ліс також важливо зіграти вдома – можливостей у Німеччині небагато, тож повернення до Штутгарта вона назвала особливим.

Свьонтек: новий тренер і «марафон», а не спринт

Іга Свьонтек розповіла про корекцію очікувань після приходу Франсіско Роїг, наголосивши на довгій дистанції сезону. Вона також додала, що під час паузи в Польщі її тягнуло повернутися до «важкої роботи» на Майорці – тренування на базі академії Рафи Надаля стали окремим мотиватором.

Ґауф: графік під Roland Garros

Коко Ґауф пояснила вибір виступати у Штутгарті перед серією турнірів категорії 1000 та Парижем. Її головний орієнтир – форма на Roland Garros, а структура календаря вже давала позитивний ефект.

"Anytime, that's the goal, is to peak at that tournament. That's the main motivation keeping that schedule, because it has worked well for me.

"I would love to do better here. The main thing I care about is Roland Garros and how I do there. That's the main reason for the motivation of that." – Coco Gauff

Рибакіна: не про очки, а про якість турнірів

Єлена Рибакіна уникнула розмов про підрахунок очок у перегонах за лідерство рейтингу проти Aryna Sabalenka. Вона також відзначила виступ Казахстану в Billie Jean King Cup проти Канади, згадавши тривалість матчу Yulia Putintseva – Bianca Andreescu та участь молоді.

"I don't really look at the points each tournament. I just know that I need to do well, at this point to come almost till the end of the tournament no matter what I play." – Elena Rybakina

"It was some crazy matches there. Yulia (Putintseva) with Bianca (Andreescu), I just saw some highlights after, but it was very long match. I'm happy that also younger girls managed to play. I think it's great to be again in the final stages of Billie Jean King Cup." – Elena Rybakina

Світоліна: прапор, медаль Токіо та зростання підтримки

Еліна Світоліна підкреслила вагу виступів за Україну – Олімпіада та командні турніри залишаються для неї особливими. Вона нагадала про бронзову медаль з Токіо – першу для України в тенісі – і про те, що з ростом інтересу та соціальних мереж шість українок у топ-100 привертають дедалі більше уваги вболівальників.

"Playing for my country, playing Olympics or the team competitions, Billie Jean King Cup, is always special for me.

"The moment that stands out in my career is bringing the bronze medal from Tokyo, the first one in tennis for Ukraine. Just every time that I step on the court and seeing a Ukrainian flag next to me adds up a little bit more pressure, but it also motivates me every single day to do my very best." – Elina Svitolina

"Many Ukrainians — more and more with Internet and with all the social media — there are more Ukrainians aware what tennis is and when they can come and support us.

"Tennis in general is getting more popular over the years, and I feel with now six Ukrainians in the top 100 — which is amazing for Ukrainian tennis — I think people are starting to discover more the sport." – Elina Svitolina
